    What is Jfrog Artifactory?

    What is Trash can in JFrog Artifactory?

    Trash can will store deleted items for a specified retention period . The Default retention time period is 14 days. If "Enable Trash Can" set, trash can will be enabled and deleted items will be stored in the trash can for the specified retention period. As the default retention period is 14 days, it can have substantial impact on your Cloud Billing. Hence regular House-Keeping and In frequent Trash will save the extra storage cost for you.

    Enable Trash Can : If set, trash can will be enabled and deleted items will be stored in the trash can for the specified retention period.
    Retention Period : The number of days to keep deleted items in the trash can before deleting permanently.
    Empty Trash Can  : Click to delete all items currently in the trash can permanently.

    Let us see how to Clean Trash Can.

    1. Go to Admin --> General Configuration.


    2. Click on the "Empty Trash Can" option. In the Next Pop-up window Click on "Empty Trash" Button.



    3. You can check the Storage Overview that Trash Can has been cleared.
